Immeasurably More

We have been truly blown away this week with the little ways in which God has provided for us.  Among those are some special ways He has provided for this upcoming mission trip.  We have tried to send out thank you cards to many folks who have made donations to our cause, but a simple thank you card just doesn't seem to be enough sometimes.

If you are reading this and have supported our mission in any way please know that you are greatly appreciated.  Supporting missions is not just about giving money.  Money is needed to do international missions, but we have been blessed by folks who have simply been obedient to use what's in their hands.  Maybe it has been a trash bag of toys or clothes that you have donated to our upcoming yard sale.  Maybe you've searched your jewelry boxes and you're making plans to attend our Gold Party this Friday (or maybe you're offering your home for the party!)  Maybe you've offered something handmade for our gift basket that we are preparing to raffle off or maybe you've offered up a prayer, sent us a check, or helped spread the word about our mission.  Whether we are called to go, give, pray, or help in some other unique way, we are all equally called to be obedient!

There have just been so many people this week who have supported us in such a variety of ways and we are so thankful.  Although no one likes having to raise money, this process has truly increased our faith as we have seen first-hand evidence of God working through people to accomplish something for the Kingdom.  This is His mission and He will provide for it in any way He sees fit.

I did mention a Gold Party above.  A friend of ours offered her home for a Gold Party that will help bring in a little more money to add to our fundraising goal.  The party is in Mount Airy, NC this Friday March 9th from 6-8:30 so if have any gold jewelry you'd like to sell, leave me a message for more details.  I'm excited to see how it goes.
