We're going to AFRICA!

Yup, that's right!  After much prayer and consideration, we finally settled on South Sudan for our first mission trip with Southeastern Seminary!  We're really excited!  I still can't even believe we're doing this in just 6 months!

We'll be heading to Kajo Keji, S. Sudan for about two weeks in June 2012.  This trip focuses primarily on discipleship.  We will be strengthening some new church plants or possibly establishing a new group.  Every day we will get the chance to share about Jesus with people in schools, in homes, and in the markets followed by discipleship.  We will be doing all of this with Bible college students, modeling good discipleship principles for them.  Our team will be a resource to the nationals that we will be working with.

Right now, Jeremy and I covet your prayers as we learn about S. Sudan, prepare with our group for our ministry there, and raise the support we need to fund our trip.  If you feel so led, our school has set up an easy and safe way to help reach Africa by making a contribution online at our school's website.  Just click the box "Give to Missions" on the right and enter that you heard about the trip from us, (either Jeremy or Shelly Moorhouse).  Contributions can be made confidentially if you wish, and everything is tax-deductible!
